Trip Overview
The Langtang Valley Trek is a beautiful journey into one of Nepal’s closest Himalayan regions, combining Tamang culture, dense forests, alpine landscapes, and stunning views of Langtang Lirung. This 11-day itinerary takes you from Kathmandu to the peaceful Langtang Valley, Kyanjin Gumba, and the viewpoint of Tserko Ri, offering an ideal mix of nature, culture, and adventure.
Itenerary
Our team will welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer you to your hotel. Free time to relax and prepare for the trek briefing.A leisure day for final preparations, shopping, or optional sightseeing around the city.A scenic drive through hills, rivers, and villages takes you to Dhunche, the gateway to the Langtang region.Start your trek with forested trails and local settlements, gradually climbing up to Thulo Syabru.Follow a peaceful forest path along the Langtang River, ascending to the Lama Hotel village.Continue through beautiful alpine forests and open meadows as you enter the Langtang Valley and reach Mundu.A short but scenic hike leads you to Kyanjin Gumba, a beautiful village surrounded by snow-capped peaks.Early morning hike to Tserko Ri for panoramic Himalayan views, then return to Kyanjin Gumba for rest.Descend through forests and villages as you retrace your way back to the Lama Hotel.A final descent through lush forests brings you to Syabrubesi, the ending point of the trek.Drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel. What is Excluded?
- Nepal visa fees on arrival.
- International flights to and from Kathmandu.
- Travel insurance (must include emergency helicopter evacuation).
- Helicopter rescue cost (processed through your insurance if needed).
- Personal trekking gear and climbing equipment not provided.
- Extra nights in Kathmandu outside the itinerary.
- Meals in Kathmandu (except welcome Nepali dinner).
- Alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, and bottled water during the trip.
- Personal expenses such as laundry, Wi-Fi, snacks, and hot showers.
- Costs due to delays caused by weather, flight cancellations, or natural events.
- Tips for guide, porter, climbing Sherpa, and local crew.
- Any other expenses not mentioned in the “Cost Includes” section.
